How it works

Three steps, no recording booth

No new phone number, no app to learn. You end up with audio files and a plain-English guide to where each one goes.

  1. Tell us about your business

Your hours, what's available, prices, directions and how you want messages handled. A short email is enough.

  2. We write it, you tweak it

We turn your facts into a short, clear script for each menu option. Change any line you like, and nothing is recorded until you approve it.

  3. Download and upload

You get finished clips in the formats phone systems accept, plus a single greeting for voicemail. Upload them, and callers get answers.

Works with your phone

Will it work with my phone?

Here's the honest answer. It depends on whether your phone lets you upload a greeting file.

Upload directly

Business phone services

These let you upload a greeting and a separate clip for each menu option. Your pack works as-is.

  • RingCentral
  • Grasshopper
  • Quo (OpenPhone)
  • Ooma Office
  • Dialpad
  • Nextiva
  • Vonage Business
  • 8x8
  • Zoom Phone
  • Google Workspace (Voice auto attendant)

Some services only take one file type (Nextiva wants a phone-system WAV, Grasshopper wants MP3). Every pack includes both.

Works, with one manual step

Cell voicemail, Google Voice, answering machines

These don't accept files, and they only have one greeting. You get a single combined greeting that you play in: start recording your greeting, then play the clip from another phone on speaker in a quiet room.

It works, but the phone re-records the audio, so it won't sound quite as crisp as an upload. In the works: a simpler option for cell and landline numbers.

Who it's for

Built for businesses that can't always pick up

Owner-operators who miss calls on the job, and seasonal businesses whose answer changes every day. If callers keep asking the same few questions, a good phone menu answers them for you.

"Are you open today?"

U-pick farms and pumpkin patches

Weather and picking conditions change the answer daily. Many farms already ask people to call before they come, then re-record the message by hand each morning.

  • Today's status as its own short clip, easy to swap
  • What's ready, prices and directions a press away
  • Group visits handled with a message prompt
What you get

What's in the pack

One download with everything your phone could ask for, and a guide to which file goes where.

A single combined greeting

About 30 to 40 seconds covering today's status, what you offer, prices and where to find you. For voicemail and any phone with one greeting.

A clip for every menu option

The main menu ("press 1 for today's hours…"), then one clip per option and a closing. For phone services with a press-1 menu.

MP3 and phone-system WAV

MP3 for uploading to most services, plus 8 kHz telephone WAV files for the systems that require them.

A plain-English guide

Which file to use for a menu, which for voicemail, which format your phone wants, plus the full script so you can check every line.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is it a real person?

No. The voices are natural-sounding AI voices. We write the script from the facts you give us, you read and approve every word before anything is recorded, and then you download the finished files.

Can I update it when things change?

Yes. Send us the change, like "closed today because of rain" or new prices, and we re-record the lines that changed. Today's status is its own short clip, so a daily update only swaps one file.

Which phones does it work with?

Business phone services that accept uploaded greetings, such as RingCentral, Grasshopper, Quo, Ooma, Dialpad, Nextiva, Vonage, 8x8, Zoom Phone and Google Workspace, take the files directly. Cell voicemail, personal Google Voice and answering machines can't take files, so you play the single greeting in while recording. More detail.

Do I need a new phone number or app?

No. You keep your number and your phone service. We give you audio files, and you put them on the line you already have. We never make calls or send texts on your behalf.

Can I write my own script?

You can change any line. We keep every menu to the same simple structure, with short lines and one topic per option, because that's what callers find easiest. Each change is checked so the message stays clear before you approve it.
